The mysterious Locke just happens to find a backgammon set. Walt is curious. And after the weird dark/light Star Wars conversation Locke tells Walt his secret

I always thought it was a red herring too… then somone told me it was a red snapper. Wikipedia them both it does appear to be a red snapper.
Ummm……maybe thats the producers favourite fish….????
And the funny thing is, that entire scene (with Jacob and mystery figure) could prove to be misleading. The fish Jacob caught was a red-herring. Why would the producers use a red-herring, of all fish?
I knew that scene was significant i just didnt know how
Hey Everyone! I will upload the scene where it is revealed that Locke was in a wheel chair soon – from episode Walkabout.
One of my favourite scenes
WARNING: SPOILER….for if you have never seen lost.
That he was paralyzed but after the plane crash he could walk. But you find out later that Locke only told Walt that a miracle happened to him and didn’t specifically say he was in a wheel chair
what is the secret ??
It’s like Jacob is playing a game with everyone (from what’s in ‘The Incident’) and the Locke reference to the dice made of bones mirrors this, as well as all the light/dark stuff. But, LOST has a way of turning the baddies (at the start) into goodies, like Sawyer and Kate among others, so Jacob could be the evil one
Checked the vid for the same reason, the incident. U guys seem right, this could be the very foundation of the entire series.
me too man, inspired by the incident, i love to see they planned things from the beggining like in swan orientation video where marvin cant use his left hand; this one particularly amazes me, the fact that the two enemies (jacob in white dress, the other in black) where in an analogy at the pilot episode, makes me love lost even more
exactly what i was thinking!!!
Thank you for posting this. Im guessing you were inspired by the season 5 finale as I was. This 2 minute scene may be the foundation of the entire series. Everything from ancient Egypt, to light and dark, and pawns on a large scale game all are in this scene. Hopefully Walt’s character hasnt had complete closure and he will return in 2010.
