Is it legal on the McDonald’s Monopoly game to combine pieces with another person?

So say I’m keeping in touch with a friend in another city who’s collecting Monopoly pieces with me and we get a match. Is that acceptable in the game? Or do they like verify which stores you get the pieces from and who bought the food they came on and crap like that?
they dont care
your friend might want to split the prize tho
we used to have a pool in my work to see if we’d win anything.
They don’t care.
It’s possible they might hold it against someone if they used the online code, then another person redeemed that exact game piece for a physical game prize, though. Easiest solution there is to either not play the online game, or wait until after you’ve sorted out your game pieces in regards to who gets what.
ill share wih you
I highly doubt that they would go into verification, but i’m sure that if you shared pieces with someone, they might want a share of any prize money you get
