Gus Hansen and fellow Dane Sander Lylloff, also an accomplished poker player (winner of EPT Barcelona) and also regarded as the world’s best backgammon player by by Gus and many others, spar for heavy cash at a backgammon tournament on the WSOB tour

i think this game is a waste a time and doesnt help wit anything
Nice, good play on gus, good gammon
I don’t even know how to play it
It can be a child’s game. For instance I’m pretty sure Gus’ niece could beat the OP and myself at this game with both hands tied behind her back. What is she? Three? Maybe four years old?
what a ***
its no child’s game
backgammon is very similar to poker in terms of balance of luck and skill. With the doubling cube you can also raise the stakes, sometimes a ‘raise’ or ‘re-raise/ re-cube’ will get a guy (or gal) off a game he should be calling or taking – like a bluff i poker.
it’s unique to JC
lol if you approach backgammon with that attitude, you will be sorry and will be in trouble.
try it and see if you are not breathless at the end.
this is a childrens game like sorry and trouble. Why the **** is it shown on tv as tournament?
Why does John say Fal-a-fel? Is that an English thing? Sounds ridiculous. Surely the correct pronunciation is Fal-ar-fel.
