i like this trap, but it sort of requires some greed as well as stupidity on behalf of your opponent, so it’s a bit conditional

The problem with traps is that there’s always an “IF” involved. Of course, I love this trap, especially when white traps the queen, which I love doing from time to time. The problem is, the opponent HAS to play certain moves in order for the trap to work. On the other hand, if there was an automatic-win-no-matter-what trap, then the whole game would be ruined. And that’s where the whole fun in chess comes in. Variety is the spice of life, and chess is FULL of variety. Great video.

not true. the whole queen trapping thing doesnt have to happen.. black’s position is screwed up.

Doesn’t the black bishop give a check to white knig and them remove the white queen with the rook
