I ask myself lots of questions….
What did my opponent’s last move do to the position?
Am I being threatened directly or indirectly?
If I could make multiple moves in a row, what would they be?
What’s my plan?
Can I succeed in this plan?
What move can I make that doesn’t weaken my position but potentially threaten to weaken my opponents’?
Where is my opponent weak?(somewhere on king/queen/center?)
How can I make use of the weak area if so?
How can I make a move that will allow few responses?

Jerry a question, what is your process for eliminating bad moves and finding good ones other than book moves that you already know are good.
