backgammon how do players end without a partners agreement? I get to only a few moves left and partner leaves

several times I was just about to win and the game starts over without me pushing "start" and I lose my points. Other times the game just vanishes and I don’t get points. Other people are beating me just by playing till they’re ahead and somehow quiting without cheap drugs no prescription my consent.
